Celeberation of International Womans Day at Mumbai In an unique initiative, six young female achievers with outstanding feats in different fields to their credit, will be conferred the International Womena’s Day honours here on Sunday, an official said.The six young girls are from different parts of India and will be presented the Shanmukhananda Fine Arts Sabha (SFAS) annual International Women’s Day awards at the hands of Governor CV Rao on Sunday.
Among the selected girls one of the girl is from J&K.
The eight-year old Tajamul Islam from Srinagar, who is the country’s youngest kick-boxing World Champion and is the daughter of a driver Ghulam Mohammad Lone.
Governor Rao will present each girl a cash prize of Rs 50,000, a high-version laptop, including a Braille laptop for Rida Zehra, a trophy, brass lamp and shawl.

The SFAS President V. Shankar said that this year the focus was on the girl child and all the awardees hail from ordinary backgrounds but with extraordinary achievements to their credit.

Owais Manzoor. Owais Manzoor the student of Army Goodwill School Bandipora won Second Kashmir Gold Cup Taekwondo Championship and got Gold madel.
Miss Shah Parihaan Peerzada. Parihaan is a student of AGS Bandipora. She participated in Squay Martial Arts in the 60th National School Games. She also participated in Snow Skiing Advance Course at Gulmarg. During the course she was awarded ’A’ grading and recommended for competitive skiing.
World Championship Miss Tajamul Islam. Army Goodwill School Bandipora has hailed 8 years old kickboxer Tajamul Islam for winning Gold Medal in the world championship.
The class 2nd student of Army goodwill School Bandipora created history when she bagged gold medal in final of World sub Junior Kickboxing Championship held at Andriana, Italy on Nov 09 in the final Tajamul defeated her opponent from USA.
The Championship was organised by the Italian Kickboxing Federation. The child played the championship in the age group of 6-8 years and weight category under 30 kg.
