Academics - Examination System

Final assessment of a student at the end of the Academic Session will be based on the unit test, half yearly test and the Final Examination besides home work, class work and project works undertaken by him/her throughout the year. Distribution of marks for promotion to next class will be as under:-

(a) Unit Test:

           (i) Unit 1 Examination (In March) - 10%

           (ii) Unit 2 Examination (In April) - 10%

   (iii) Unit 3 Examination (In August) - 10%

(b) Mid Term Examination (In July) - 20%

(d) Final Examination (In October-November) - 40%

(e) Homework and Handwriting - 05%

(f) Discipline - 05%

In KG classes the tests are not necessarily written. They are programmed to include oral test or other forms of tests to assess the abilities of students. The Principal will use his/her judgment in this regard.
